Cooking Instructions:
Boil the Wontons
- Bring a medium pot of water to a rolling boil (about 1.5L / 6 cups)
- Add frozen wontons directly into boiling water
- Stir gently to prevent sticking
- Cook for 5–6 minutes or until wontons float and skins look translucent
- Remove with slotted spoon
- Serve hot in soup or with dipping sauce
Suggested Soup Base (Optional, per 2 servings)
- 2 cups (500ml) chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- A few drops of sesame oil
- A pinch of white pepper
- Optional: chopped green onion, bok choy, or spinach
Heat broth until simmering, add cooked wontons, simmer together for 1–2 minutes, then serve.
Serving Tips / Optional Toppings:
- Drizzle with chili oil or sriracha for spice lovers
- Add fried garlic or shallots for extra aroma
- Garnish with fresh coriander or a squeeze of lime for a refreshing twist
